How can I sell my tickets?

I'm looking for some input from people who care............ I bought tickets for the Cleveland and Pittsburgh shows through IM and now I'm not going to use those tickets.
I'm wondering what the best way would be for me to try to sell them would be.  I don't want to put them on eBay since I have no idea where the Pittsburgh seats are located, and someone has to meet up with me to get the tickets in the first place (since I have to pick them up at the will-call windows).

Any chance that someone on this board would be interested in a single ticket to the Cleveland show or a pair of tickets to the Pittsburgh show.  I posted about them on IM, but got no responses.

I'd love for another real fan to have these tickets, so if anyone can help me - PLEASE let me know!!!

You should be able to post the Cleveland ticket on eBay.  It's GA, so as long as someone doesn't mind meeting you rather than having it mailed to them, it shouldn't be very problematic.  Unfortunately though, Cleveland isn't sold out so I would assume most people would buy through Ticketmaster rather than risk eBay unless you offer the ticket for less than what you paid.  (I myself secretly wish I knew someone going to Cleveland so I go while thinking I was doing a good deed taking the ticket off your hands  Cheesy)

As for Pittsburgh, if you haven't found someone on the Goo boards, you might as well try to sell them on eBay.  You'd just have to explain the situation and offer up some evidence from previous shows that the IM tickets seem to be decent.  Any casual fan who wants to go but doesn't want to spend $400 on guaranteed front row tickets may be content with face value for row 2-10.

Good luck!

I WILL be going to the Cleveland show - I bought two tickets and decided not to take my daughter to a GA show............... so if you'd still like to do a good deed, all you'd have to do is meet up with me to get the ticket - lol!
I guess when it comes to the Pittsburgh tickets, anyone interested in them should understand the situation (especially if they've been involved with fanclub tix for anyone else)............ and since I'll be getting the cash before they get the tickets, all should be good.
My tickets are in the "level 1" area - not "floor" so I think they're sections 4-9......... though I got them early enough that they should be decent. (I splurged and bought Pit seats after the fact so I'll be there, too - lol)

Guess I'd better decide soon - time's running out............. thanks for the advice!!!

Just my opinion...I think it would suck if someone sold Inner Machine tickets on e-Bay...Although I'm sure it's being done, I just think it's wrong...Those tix are for fans (and their friends) who have joined IM, not for someone to scalp on e-Bay or anywhere else.

I hope someone steps up and offers to buy your tix. I wouldn't want you to get stuck with them. Maybe you can post messages like this one on several of the more popular Goo Fansites. I'd suggest posting at Absolute Goo and It's All Goo.

Also, aren't you still going to have to go to the venue the day of the concert to pick-up the tix at Will Call? That makes it more complicated.

Anyway, good luck....

OK, getting off my soapbox now...

Oh, I know exactly what you mean about putting IM tickets on eBay, and, yes, there are some there already.......... I'm tryyyyying to offer them to people I know are fans - that's my first priority - but I don't want to get stuck with them either.   The Cleveland one I'm not as worried about - if it comes down to it I can sell it for T-shirt money when I get it.

I'll still be going to both of the shows anyway so getting the tickets at the will-call window isn't a problem.

I'll try to get messages on other boards - and I'm hoping that there'll be some word of mouth, too!

Thanks for the input!

Yep, I hear you, I wouldn't want to get stuck with extra tix either.

Good luck. And have fun at the shows!
