Johnny Rzeznik Quote & Photos AT CBGBs

As those of you know the legendary CBGBs is packing its bags and moving. Its very sad because of the history the building holds as well as the artwork on the walls, the various stickers in misc nooks and crannies, and the essence of still hearing the famous acts that once played there..to where some of those acts are no longer among us....
I don't know if you guys have heard this quote but I thoroughly enjoyed it so I thought I'd share incase some of you haven't read it....
John Rzeznik of The Goo Goo Dolls says..... "We first played there in 1993. And as a band from Buffalo getting a gig at CBGB's instantly made us cooler than any other bands in the area. It was overwhelming the first time we played there, because we were actually onstage in the birthplace of alternative rock"
and he's right its one kick ass place tre' cool...
