I just watched the guys on Leno and that was freakin' FANTASTIC!!! Not only did they look great but they sounded awesome.
This has to be their best television performance of Stay With You so far. Leno must have upgraded his studio sound system.
What do you all think?

I had the extreme pleasure of watching Leno with rabbit ears tonight (my cable is in a box in a truck), so for me, all of the Goos looked like they had a thin film on them. It was not exceptionally flattering...
But... they sounded good. The best John has sounded on Stay With You I think.
(Oh, and for those of you going to early tour shows, don't throw bras. Throw nice button down shirts or even wife beaters. Just provide John with the option to wear a shirt because we came dangerously close to a nip slip tonight)

I think this was a lot better than Tony Danza, but i think we could hear the raspyness of John's voice from his infection...all in all, I loved it.

I agree...they sounded fantastic...much better sound system than on Conan and Regis. Also, I loved that Scott McClellan is a goo fan! LOL

my first thought when they came on was, "aww, Rzeznik's wearing nmf's favorite outfit again!" my sister, who is completely insane came up with this idea on why he refuses the underneath shirt: Maybe they were running late and Robby was like, "John, don't forget your shirt!" and Rzeznik is like, "There's no time!" because i'm partly insane, at about 12:30 last night, i thought it was hilarious. . .
now, all kidding a side (including that side part in Rzeznik's hair) i thought out of all the TV performances, this was their best. they sounded great, the vocals were loud and clear. . .they always seem to kick it up a notch for Leno. . .

That part of my theory is a little weak). If he ruins his clothes, he just has to deal with it. And, on the very first day, his shirt went through a wood chipper (or something. Another weak spot in the theory) and now he has no shirt to wear. But really, this isn't my worst "John outfit". To see that one, go watch Broadway on Conan...
Oh, and Korel has instantly become my favorite side keyboardist/guitarist in the history of Goo, because I just realized he's left handed. Yay for lefties who make it to adulthood without injuring themselves with right handed equipment!

Last night I got home from work just in time to catch the last half of the Goos performing the song. When I saw John wearing the suit w/no shirt, I smiled and thought of you, nmf. Sorry. But I also think fondly of you when I hear the words Snakes On a Plane. 
I think it's funny you had to watch it with rabbit ears. I wonder how many people here have no clue what that means. Probably thinkin' you dress up like a bunny or something...
And the keyboardist is named Korel? Cool! That name sounds like something out of a Superman movie.
I like your wardrobe theory by the way. The fine details will come to you eventually.

oh yes, i remember that outfit, too. from the waist up, it is a highly respectable outfit. . .camera pans down and we see Man!Capris. . .ahhh!!! loved his hair though. . .
