Las Vegas Show

Ok so I went to Vegas this weekend to see the GGD's (first time that I have seen them live)....the only words that can come to my mind right now is WOW!!!! It was an amazing show...They did Stay With You, Name, Slide, Broadway, Black Balloon, Let Love In, Listen, Strange Love, Smash, Become, Feel the Silence and 2 more but the names of the songs have completely lost me right now. Before they did Name some lady decided that she needed to show her boobs to the guys and John said that she does not know how much he appreciates that right now and also the guy next to her must appreciate her as well... near the end of Name he started to laugh and stop and said that the song was ruined before he finished. During Slide and another song he started to laugh a little as well. He said that the best thing about Vegas is that it is Beautiful and Sinful at the same time just like a good woman. It was a very energetic show.....They were all great...at one point John was introducing the new guys and when he introduced brad, John asked Brad if he wants to just go by Brad (who just shrugged) and John said F*** it......Some dude in front of me and Vicky (Soulalone) had a ticket for the regular section and for the VIP section...he switched tickets with Vicky who went to the VIP section for like 3 songs and then we switched and I got to get pretty close to the stage....Very Cool....before the show started some tall guy just shoved his way in front of Vicky and a couple of other ladies, pretty much took our spot....Vicky and the other ladies were saying how rude and he and his female friends were commenting about it but he eventually left.....anyways it was a great show...The Red Rock Casino is a very impressive place....the pool area, where the concert was, was a very good place for a concert.....here are some photos that I took......I was also able to make 2 videos (videotaped using my digital camera - I recorded Listen and Without You Here - the sound on those is not very good but they look cool). Oh they also played Better Days and We'll Be Here (When You're Gone). Become was the encore song...after they got off the stage for good a group of people started to chant Naked trying to get them to come out and do that one but they didn't. Some of the pictures might be a bit blurry - John was moving to much...I didn't get any of Robby because I didn't have a good enough of a spot.

Thanks for the review...going to look at the pics now.
Is this the same show that that one member over at IM is bitchin about...... if so....isn't it amazing how people can have such a negative turn on things that aren't negative at all?

I have been to many many GGD shows. I am from NY and went to Vegas specifically for this show and I was slightly concerned by the ending of the concert. I thought the show was great but I felt that Johnny wasn't really too into being there. The only time he smiled when was the lady flashed him, which I was basically right next to her and she was like a Courtney Love wanna-be. She looked like an old ****. Anyway I just thought the way they ended was very strange. Only one song for the encore and then they basically just walked off the stage. The concert ended 30 minutes early. I was a little disappointed about that and also concerned. I hope that everything was ok but I guess I will never know why the concert ended so abruptly.

the only song on the set list that they did not do was Give A Little Bit which was supposed to be the second encore song....I don't think that it was supposed to be a 2 hour show since it was just a promo show ----as it is they play 16 songs or so...in my review I left out that they also sang Here is Gone by the way
