Hey y'all.. after reading that review link posted today, i started wondering myself what everyone's favorite lyric is from the album... personally, my favorite is one from Become: Let me remind you/The light doesn't blind you at all/It just helps you see what are all of yours?

One that keeps getting stuck in my head is "Now that it's over, of course it's so clear.." I think that rings true in everyone's life. Hindsight is 20/20.

too many to even answer this question, hahahah i think the LLI album easily has the deepest and best lyrics of all 8 albums in honor of both johnny and robby's brilliant lyrics i've decided to pick one from each song to drive home how much I love the lyrics of this album. Stay With You: "Fooled by my own desires / I twist my fate, just the feel you" Let Love In: Brilliant concept for this song, I think much too often we fail to recognize just how much we mean to the ones around us and visa-versa; how much the others in our life (even ones who seem to play little or no role) impact our lives everyday. We often fail to "Let Love In". "But I can't control your soul / You need to let me know, are you leaving or you gonna stay?" Maybe not the deepest in the song, but I love the way this is sung. Feel The Silence: Deepest lyrics on the album, again, i love the concept of this song. It's ripe with incredible lyrics. "When you're fighting the current, you forget how to live" Yeah... freaking awesome Johnny. Better Days: Written for a Christmas album, the lyrics fit right into this album also and really didn't lose any of their relevance. "And the one poor child that saved this world, and there's 10 million more who probably could, If we all just stopped and said a prayer for them" Without You Here: This album has some of the first dyed in the wool "love songs" I've heard from the Goos. I'm not against that, but most of their older songs were about imperfect or frustrating love. I definately enjoy this one. "It seems the ones who love us are the ones, that we deceive" Listen: First off... Damn, Robby! I really loved Extra Pale and Amigone, but this is incredible. Robby just doesn't seem to get enough credit, but definately deserves way for some awesome rock songs. "You've got a dirty face / And it's killin' me" Pure Robby. Who wouldn't love to hear that? Give A Little Bit: Great cover, I love it. But they didn't write it, so I'm not gonna critique the lyrics. Sounds great live and on the album though. Can't Let It Go: One day, this chorus will actually stop ringing in my head. And it will be a sad day indeed. "I was your anger And you were my fear Now that it's over Of course it's so clear But you were no angel And I was no sin Somehow I can't let it go Can't let it go" We'll Be Here (When You're Gone): Pardon my French, but holy hell I love this song! Too many great lines to choose from. "But the ones who fight and die, Are the truth inside the lie" Sadly, how true. Strange Love: I don't particularly like this song, but I felt the same way about January Friend a few years ago and now I love it. Anyway, Listen is good enough to make up for this one's temporary shortcomings if you ask me. "A passion junkie's fix is never satisfied"\ I like that line for some reason... Become: I love slow songs with distorted electric guitars. THAT my friends, is pretty much what does it for me. "Let love become the mirror, with no fear where you're from" Sorry, i know this was long. But dammit, i love this new album

I love everything from the song "Let love in". "Half the world are beggers, the other half steal". "I'm drowning but I feel free".

The one I find myself wishing I could rewind over and over is .... "I don't know where I'm going Only know where I been But you move through my soul like a hurricane wind We've been so lost for so long I don't know how to get back again" I love this lyric but part of the reason I like it is how he sings it. His voice gets all gravely ... *shivers*

I've been thinking about this for a while actually, at the moment: Feel the Silence- 'I asked for this moment, but you turned away' and 'i ask you for more but you push me away' and i love the 'how do we hold on(s)' at the end. Listen- 'I'm drowning but I never felt so free' Become- 'I know how they tried to take you, held you up and meant to break you down' Those are the ones that come to mind at the moment but they'll change with time.
