Not sure if you guys have noticed this but, in the 'Road Home' show they did around 1998 (ish?) they are visiting buffalo again, and they pull up to The Continental. John mentions that they used to play there when they first started out, and they are friends with the owners there as they (or just john) could always rely on getting jobs there between touring in the early days.
Just thought some of you may not have known that.

The Continental has died.  Well, it still may come back, but it was forced to close last year.
Other fun Goo/Continental facts: The Goos were banned from ever playing the Continental again more than once. And for a while, they had weekly shows there and had a living room set up on the stage
