Couple of q's about NYC

Was wondering if someone could answer a couple of q's about the city.
Was wondering how far Grand Central Station is from this Avalon.....
is it walking distance? How large is the Avalon? How early should you arrive at the avalon considering it's General admission to ensure a good spot.
Next set of q's this Virgin Megastore... same q's I guess... How far from the Grand Central Station? Seein's they are only giving braclets to the first couple hundread, how early should I ensure I'm there if they go sale at 9? How crazy is this gonna get.... I use to live in Ct.... but have been up here in the Maine sticks for far too long! LOL I forget how crazy these things can get!
MAN I feel old. LOL Thanks for the info in advance!

Avalon is all the way down by the meat packing district, on 27th or something, ur best bet would to take a cab from grand central. Avalon is actually a club, but ive never been in there so im not sure about the size, but im assuming its small.
you could want to the virgin megastore from grand central, its basically right there in times sqaure, not sure the exact location,i would look it up online. i would get there VERY early for the bracelets.

Shannon.... yeah if I can make it work. I put in for the giveaway to the avalon..... and as far as the megastore.... if I can rest assured I get there early enough to get a bracelet then yeah I'm sooooo there.

If you scroll down in the following link, there's info regarding the Virgin megastore thing. I think you have to get a pass the day before the instore, when you purchase the new CD there.

As far as the Avalon goes, all I keep reading is that the tickets sold out real fast, and there are a lot of creeps selling them on E-Bay for ridiculous prices. Maybe someone here will win tickets over on the goo website. Good luck.

yeah.... that's why I'm wondering how early I need to get there the day of the release of the cd.... I need to ensure that I get there early enough to be the first couple hundred to get a braclet..... otherwise I'm SOL.
and seeins how I have no way into the avalon.... coming all the way from Maine..... I'm gonna be some pissed if I go all the way there and don't get a braclet to see the next days show!
