Again... glad someone visits the official site and tells us these things. You'd think with all the new stuff, I'd remember to visit that site every day or so...
There's a whole lot of drum action going in that clip. I haven't even heard the whole song, but I bet this will sound awesome live.

Style is different, but I like. I'm not whoa by it, but it keeps me going. What I really love is how positive their music is now. Now, he's like he saying he'll stay with a person cuz he's confident, cuz he cares. Before, he just sounded like he had nowhere to go..haha.
I just wish he had said "I'll stay with you" with that youiowiogu....u guys know what i'm talking about, but i'm sure he'll sing it like that in other parts of that song or in live concerts.

Do you mean HIG? Sooo many people bag that song and say it was a terrible first single. I think it was the best single they ever released. The opening riffs are so distinct that anyone would know the song in seconds. It's the only single the Goos have released that is on my iPod Goo playlist, because I got so sick of all the other ones. I don't think the video gained too many fans (though I thought it was beautiful), but I think HIG was a perfect first single.
And I hope We'll Be Here isn't political as well. It's cool if it's Flat Top-ish, but I personally listen to music to get my mind off of politics, etc. Plus, a democratic song is going to offend 50% of the US.

I love what I have heard of this song.
I'm not going to venture a guess on what the other songs are like. I want to be surprised when I pop the CD in for the first time.
I'm doing my Bunny Dance of Joy that the Goo Goo Dolls gave us this sound clip of the first release off the new album.
