My cat passed away....

15 years ago, I met my best friend Chewy and now she is gone.
What made this so hard is that I went away to school, and I wasn't there to really help her or help my family.
I went home last night to say good bye.
She had cancer in her mouth and it got so bad that there wasn't much else for her to do.
I wouldn't really post this here, but we used to sit there and listen to the Goo's together. It was something speical that we would do late at night. She would curl up with me and I would just play some random Goo songs.
Lets all hope that she isn't suffering anymore where ever she might be.

I saw the Goo's for the first time on August 6th, 2006, at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

wow i am so so so sorry about your cat i know how you feel i mean they become like your children!! And i'm sure wherever she is she is ok!! Again i am so sorry for your loss and things will get better.

So sorry to hear this.I know what you feel like too.My Sammy was almost 13 he was the oldest of all my children!!I loved him so much I still think about him every day.You will have a tough time the first few weeks,it's hard to lose a pet that becomes your best friend.If you need to talk or shere photos of your cat you can email me or myspace.I hope today is a good day for you.You are not alone in this.(((((HUG)))))

Awww, I am so sorry.  I lost a cat last year; I know what you are going through.
The hardest thing for me was walking into the house and looking at the chair she used to sleep on, expecting her to be there.
It will be tough, and as corny as it sounds, talking about memories helps.
