'Let Love In' - Who sings what?

Hi guys. Does anybody know how many songs John has on the album, and how many Robby sings on? As it's only 11, do you think John has the sole role on vocals for this one? -rune- (The Norwegian Banana)

Oh please let there only be one or two Robby songs. I LOVE the guy as a band member, but just can't take it when he sings solo anymore....getting old...it' feels like my ears are going to begin to bleed when he gets going...sorry...that might have been an "inside thought" that slipped out. Hope I didn't offend anyone...especially Robby.

That was offending! LOL. I like Robby's vocals, just not as much as johns..and I also don't think there are just 11 songs, I think they'd give us more then that..maybe like 13-15? With Robby singing like 3-4 songs..

If there are only 2 Robby songs, I solemnly swear that I will.... well, I don't even KNOW what, but it won't be good. (I tried to keep my big mouth shut on this one; but you know, deal with it. )

| I think the rule is John sings the songs he writes and Robby sings the songs he writes...so the answer depends on which one wrote more tunes...from the sound of John's blurbs to me it seems being back in Buffalo stirred up a lot of emotion so...AND Robby sings GREAT and so does John! They just have different voices.

It's the Goo Goo Dolls, not John Rzeznik and the Other Guys. Robby was the original singer when the band first started out, and he adds a great contrast to the john songs. I also wish they would do more duets like they used to.

| Oh, I knew this was going to happen. I LOVE Robby, I LOVE Mike and I LOVE Johnny as the GROUP the Goo Goo Dolls. However; let me explain, for those of you who want to read. I have been a Goo Goo Dolls fan forever. When Hold Me Up came out, I was 23 and my husband and I were still into that college alt/punk rock...and it seems that they were too. Robby's voice was so different - "laughing" rocked -and I kind of liken him to a punk Sammy Bodean. But I've grown up and my musical taste has evolved - as the band has - and I just PREFER John's voice over Robby's now. HOWEVER, that doesn't take away from Robby's talent or value to the band because they wouldn't be the Goo Goo Dolls unless it was Johnny, Robby & Mike. Come on. Johnny is some fine eye-candy, but he's not the reason I love the band...it's the music. Change and growth in musical tastes is expected, but it doesn't take away from appreciation of good music. At least I didn't grow out of them altogether....like my Barry Manilow / Captain and Tenille phase in 6th grade. I guess Goo has always been a friend of mine...one I don't see losing anytime soon WHOMEVER is singing lead. The End. Can someone give me a hand stepping off my soapbox?

lol great speech! but to be honest i prefer john over robby, just personal preference, i just feel more emotion in john's songs, so personally i'd like lots of john songs- but then it wldnt be a goo album without a couple of robby songs chucked in.
