You're not alone. Name is my all time favorite song by any artist period. And, I think the LIB version is better too...there's something about it.

Yea I agree, I think that LIB version of Name is a little better than the album version, though I do like the song either way.

I think John's voice was really amazing during "Abng" era, especially name. It was very clear, at least compared to how he generally sings. When he sang live during those days, his voice was very scruffy and I loved that.

I love "better days", but when it comes to live music, I don't like the sound as much now. I loved it more when it was really scruffy.

I didn't really like LIB. Not bad, but it's not the same as abng era.

I love them both, but I guess I like the live version better because, it's not edited and you can hear what they actually sound like without anything being"perfected". It's amazing!

I love both versions.  I don't know if I could choose which one I like better.  They both have their good points.  I love the solo in LIB Name, how it goes on longer than in the studio version.

LOL! I think on this board, we all talk so much in code and acronyms...and that's really not fair to new goo fans or fans who aren't as up to date. I'm too lazy to write it out thougn...hehe.
