iTunes has the acoustic version for Better Days available for download. It is AMAZING!!!! This version really lets John's voice convey the feelings of the song. I had MAJOR chills listening to it.

I'm with you on that. However, does anybody else think that THIS version is better? I think it flows better and wish that this was the single. More simple when stripped down, but I guess the "rockin'" version is more commercial. I'm just more an acoustic kind of gal.

I listened to the preview yesterday and the fact that it sounds exactly the same is the reason I haven't bought it yet. Plus I'm a little sad that it originally sounded like they were just going to put it on the goo site, but now they're selling it. But I'm sure I'll have a bad day soon and decide to buy it to make myself happy.

Since the current version of the song is slated for the Target Holiday CD, do you think that they've chosen this stripped down version for their upcoming CD? I know the acoustic version is nearly identical vocally, but maybe this "different" version is their way of not recording the same song twice?  HMMMMMM

wow i just heard it its awesome...i prefer this version, seems more passionate somehow, and i prefer his vocals in this, less ironed out but sort of 'crisp' lol
