Goo Goo Dolls
According to frontman John Rzeznik, the Goo Goo Dolls are "almost finished" with their eighth studio album, which will be the follow up to 2002's Gutterflower. It is due in stores early next year from Warner Bros. "It's going great and I cant wait to get back out and see you all again," writes Rzeznik on the band's Web site. Meanwhile, the single, "Better Days," is already doing well at radio and is available for purchase from digital music stores.
"I'd like to thank everybody for the great response to 'Better Days.' The song is doing great," writes Rzeznik. "It really felt like an 'Iris' moment when it sort of fell out of the sky and into my lap." He also added, "We're shooting the video for 'Better Days' with the director Noble Jones. The concept is pretty interesting, we are lighting up a forest at night like a Rock concert. It seems like it will be pretty amazing-looking but you never know until you see the finished product."
The band played the Lounge For Life benefit concert for breast cancer on Saturday night (10/15), and they have a New Year's Eve show booked at Las Vegas' House Of Blues.
