HOB Box Office & dinner

Hey you guys!!! I just called the House of Blues and I asked if it was possible to buy just one ticket to the NYE show and I was told that when you buy from them it's usually a dinner package and he didn't know if that would be possible for a single person but to call back next week when more info is available. If we have to go through ticketmaster that's cool but their lines are always so busy. The HOB box office might be another avenue. Just as a side note....wouldn't it just be awesome to sit down at your table and look over and find Johnny sitting at the next table ......day dreaming there for a second...hahaha

you'll be no better off going through HOB... they gave us a HUGE runaround last time... you are better off getting your tix through ticketbastard ( I NEVER thought I would hear myself say that) if they offer *pass the line* which they did last time with another huge runaround, all you are required to do is purchase one *entree* per person to get into the *pass the line* line... we had lunch... burgers and stuff... the food isn't great, but we did get a pretty sweet spot in line once they got their shit together

Sorry, but what exactly does it mean to "pass the line" line? Thanks!

Pass the line is where you buy a meal from House of Blues. Then you get in a line for the concert w/ your receipt. That line gets let in before people without a receipt. That's how it's suppossed to go, although last year they totally jacked us around!!

The "pass the line" thing is pretty sweet, but I don't know if I recommend it. That pit on the floor for the last Vegas NYE show was a mob scene and extremely hot. I actually recommend watching the show from the sides of the stage along the railing with the bar easily accessible. You got a great view of the stage and no one in front of you.

I did the *pass the line* thing but nver went onto the floor cause by the time they finally got us out of that damn stairwell I wasn't feeling too hot, so I stayed by the bar... and had a great view... I saw the ppl on the floor... I wouldn't have made it through the whole show down there... but some ppl live for that type of thing and any other night I would have been down there... it was nice to not be crushed for once....

"Watching the show from the sides of the stage along the railing, with the bar easily accessible" what type of ticket is that? Can you move around there like standing room? Is this venue balcony style? Sorry for all the questions guys. This is my first goo concert and I just want to know what my options are. Thanks, you're awesome!!
