Packin' up the SUV, leaving Pittsburgh and headed to Rochester this weekend to visit our Western New York friends. It's only been a year since we've moved away and I plan on waving to "the Buff" as we drive by! What do I miss about Western New York (or as we call it, the best kept secret of the US) Wegmans, Duff's wings, good Finger Lakes wine, great (if short) summers, REAL people, awesome snowfall (and the fact that they're not crippled by it) and an entire section of the state that loves Goo! Hi John! Hi Rob! Hi Mike! Hope you're recording there...guess I'll just feel the vibe!

Buffalo is really a great city. In fact, all of Western New York is worth a visit. We only lived there two years, but it's full of people with that laid back, no nonsense, kindness like the goos seem to have. I guess they'd have to be laid back when they get about 12 feet of snow a winter!
