Ok..so today I had senior portraits..something I've been looking forward to since basically freshman year..So I go at 12:00 to get my hair done..my portrait appointment is at 2:45..I figure 2 hours to do my hair is plenty of time..I walk in..theres nobody there...good..lady talks..i just want it curled..and down..so she says we'll wash it..and stick curlers in it..and go under the big dryer..and it'll be cute..well..long story short..its 1:45 I've been under the dryer for 40 minutes..I've GOT to go..the lady left me..so I get out..get another stylist..and she takes the rollers out..and it's still wet..so I look like ijust got outta the shower...15 minutes b4 i have to leave for the studio..this might not sound bad...I realized I had no time to do my make-up or anything..I raced home to get my clothes..grabbed gel to scrunch my hair..and ran back to my car..got 1/2 way there..realized I forgot my guitar (and I'd already scheduled the music portrait)..so I go home and get it..now I'm already 15 minutes late and it's 10 minutes away from my house...I started to cry..cuz idk..it just seemed like a huge deal to me..and then I realized I needed to stop cryin' cuz my eyes would be all red in the photos..so I turned on the radio (I NEVER listen to the radio..cuz they never play goo) and all of a sudden Name comes on..it's my absolute favorite song ever..and I can't even begin to tell ya'll how much better it made me feel..I've never needed somethin' like that so badly in my life..I know it sounds like this was completely retarded..but senior pics were a big deal to me..so I chippered up..listened to goo while fixin' my hair and make-up..long story short I've never been more appreciative of goo then at that moment..do ya'll get me?..haha I guess i'm just a nerd..but my pictures did actually turn out cute. lol..It's just really nice to know that somethin' like that is always gunna be there? ya know..no matter how bad it gets...sry so long just had to share..

i'm sorry to hear you had so much trouble with your hair and then forgetting your guitar but i'm glad Goo made you day better; it really is good to know they'll always be there for us like that.

The little ways Goo creeps into our lives just amazes me. We're all so touched and lucky to have a band like the Goo's in our lives.
I'm sorry about the drama you had today, you have to show me a photo when you get them back. I loved getting my photos done for my senior year, it was so fun!

You know, it's times like these that I am so happy to have their music. My life has been a mess lately. I hadn't listened to the Goos in a long time...until yesterday. I was crying and eventually, it made me think of all the happy memories and feel better. Anyway, that bites about your day. I thought senior pics were a big deal too. It's good that the Goos could help

so sorry that the lady screwed your hair up! I hope you didn't pay for that time! If you did, go back and tell her that the work was unsatisfactory and you want your next hair cut free!
 glad goo made your day better! they seem to do that quite easily sometimes!

i get ya girl. something similair happened to me the night before my wedding...had an appt for a french manicure (which i never get manicures) anyway, they left me waiting for like an hour and i finally had to leave for the rehearsal without getting my nails done  i was sooo pissed and stressed out it made me cry too, not to mention half my in-laws from out of town were staying at our house that night. 
goos have lifted my spirits on many occasions too...i love them for that.

aww i'm sorry you were having such a bad time,i wish i cared how i look for school pictures,a couple of yrs ago i just put on a decent shirt and put a headband in my hair!but that was the second time the pictures were having to be taken,see the camera messed up and they ahd to redo the pictures,se the first time i was all dressed up in a pink and orange dress with flowers one it and sandals to match,my hair looked nice(and my friend was wearing the same exact dress,but i got mine in a different state.  )and i looked nice and we had ot have our pictures reatken!picture day is somehting i never look forward to,my neck is always sore afterwards fromt he people jerking my head around and turning me this way and that,so frustrating....

Aw thanks you guys! yeah..I'll try to post the pics on the off-topic board sometime this weekend..they did turn out ok..I just couldn't believe that so many things were going wrong! And it's not just the goos music that can cheer me up...their fans are amazing..I love ya'll like family and I'm grateful to ggds for bringin' me to get to know ya'll!
