This might be old news but I was listening to the mix in chicago and they said the goo goo dolls and bon jovi would be playing in milwaukee - so i called the dj and he said it's a miller show in milwaukee on august 20 but can only be attended by residents of milwaukee. although he did say the mix would be giving out tickets to callers. anybody know anything about this?

ok I just called the radio station again and this dj said it's a private show for miller and there will not be any tickets available through the station. so obviously dj #1 had no clue what he was talking about. sorry for the bogus info. (especially on my first post ever!)

There has been news that the Goos were playing that show. Some radio stations actually are giving away tickets, but maybe not yours. You don't have to live in Milwaukee to go to the concert, but living in the area probably makes it easier to get tickets.

BOTH DJ's were sort of right! it is a "private" party for Miller employees but the community is invited. The only Miller Brewing company employees have to show their ID's in order to get into the concert. If you're a community member of Illinois & WI, you can win tickets thru special promos on radio stations and other event such as touring the Miller brewery.
