The Most Amazing concert....

Still on cloud 9 here after seeing my first goo concert It truly was an amazing experience for me. Everyone who said if you've never seen goo live, you're in for a real treat. And a treat it was! John and Robby seemed a little surprised and somewhat relieved that so many of their fans were there. (how could they think otherwise?!) We were probably no more that 20 feet from the stage, had a great view. I swear to god Johnny looked right at me and smiled several times wore my GGD tank top and made sure he saw me singing along with every song so they knew we were there for them and not the golf. LOL Yes girls, he looked AWESOME! Camo pants, cut off at the knees, white muscle shirt with a short sleeve shirt over it. Robby looked really tan. I didn't even see Mike, we were so close to the stage and it was a long ways up there. Greg came over to the edge of the stage and played for a little while, that was really cool too. At one point John started talking about recording the new album and I think everyone thought they would play something from it, but to no avail he did say "sorry it's takin' so long, but it gonna be REALLY GOOD" CAN'T WAIT!!! In the end John thanked everyone for coming out and said "you guys keep us strong" I thought that was so sweet. That man gave me goosebumps in 90 degree weather but I'm sure I wasn't the only one! Anyway, I'm traveling back home today. Can't wait to hear what everyone else has to say ~Sherri

Thank you for your posting of the concert! Those of us who couldn't make it really appreciate it. I think it is so cute that John said he was sorry the new CD is taking so long! LOL!! Some things you just can't rush. What they put on CD is going to last forever and they know it, so I can understand why they want to make sure it's what they really want recorded exactly the way they want it.

A smile! I'd die for a smile! If I ever had the chance to actually meet Johnny, this articulate, composed, mother would get some goofy grin on her face and start blabbering like an idiot. I think it's better for me to admire from a distance (close to the stage of course), sing at the top of my lungs in the car and just wait in line someday for a brief meet and greet and get the opportunity to say "thanks goo".
