That was awesome. I came across an article calling that the worst cover on the album, but didn't think it could be that bad. Some were fine; some weren't. The worst was the San Francisco Giants' Omar Vizquel, who played the drums and sang "Broadway" by The Goo Goo Dolls. It sounded like a musical skit by comedian Cheech Marin.

HAHAHAHAHA! That was hilarious! I love how they randomly start laughing the middle of the song. Whoever this guy is enunciates all the words too much. Ouch!

Did anyone feel bad for Omar while listening to these radio guys rip on him? I did. I thought they were a little mean about the whole thing. Yeah, the guy has an accent, english isn't his first language. I found it humorous, but not in a laughing AT him kind of way. I'm not trying to be like, "Oh everyone is mean for picking on him" but I think the radio guys were a little harsh.

Yes, it was very funny. Hey, I can't sing and I don't sing in front of people, not even friends. This guy can play the drums (notice the DJs didn't crack on his drumming). Big clap of the hands for the courage this guy showed in putting his ego aside and singing. If you think the Djs were harsh on him, I bet it's nothing compared to the teasing he's going to get from his team mates. At least with his team mates, he knows it's their pride and respect of him for singing mixed in with the teasing, it makes a difference. I wish I had his guts and I could play the drums like him!
