first off, please ask yourself this question: am i annoyed by questionairre's? if the answer is 'yes', you need not read any further. thank you for reading thus far though. for those of you who answered 'no': begin... 1. when did you discover the Goos? 2. what was the first song you heard by the Goos? 3. how did you hear it---radio, friend's cd/ reference, tv, etc.? 4. did you really like it or was there a different song that 5. got you you really into the Goos' music? 6. what was the first thing that you bought containing the Goos' music--Goo album, single, movie soundtrack, etc.? 7. what was the first Goo album you bought or were given upon request--meaning if you got it and were unaware of it's deliverance or were without hopes of recieving it, then it doesn't count--? 8. what are your three most favorite songs from each Goo album that you own? 9. have you met the Goos? if 'yes'--and you care to elaborate--when, where, and did you enjoy it? if 'no', do you want to meet them? 10. was this questionairre annoying to do? lol. yes, people, i was extremely bored and i haven't seen any new threads for a few days so i thought i'd give this a go...if it doesn't work, then oh, frickin well. i will enjoy reading any answers though, so don't think i won't read them.

1. 1998 2. Iris (well, technically Name or Long Way Down, but I wasn't aware of the band at the time) 3. Radio - the debut of the song on Kiss 98.5 in the middle of the day on a weekend 4. I instantly loved it (which is why I remember hearing it mid day, etc) 5. Iris got me interested in the Goos, then Name, then I started listening to 103.3 to hear more of their music 6. City of Angels soundtrack 7. DUTG 8. too much work...... I'm tired. And I don't know if I could choose 9. Yes, I've met the Goos. Only spoke to John because the other two were distracted. (And I didn't really want to meet them because I was afraid that they would say something that made me dislike them, but I was sort of 'forced' into meeting them) 10. No.

1. I really "discovered" them in 2002 but I had liked some of their earlier songs before I became a hardcore fan! 2. Probably "Iris" 3. I heard it on my mom's CD 4. I liked it 5. But it wasn't until I was going on a trip with my family in 2002 that I took out my mom's DUTG CD and really listened to it...since then I've been hooked! 6. The first CD I actually bought myself was Super Star Carwash 7. Well I sort of inherited DUTG and ABNG from my mom, so the first one I was actually given (like as a gift) was Gutterflower (I got it for Christmas 2002) 8. Ahh, I have all of them except FR...that's too many songs! 9. Yes, I met them on July 25, 2003 in NYC at the Best Buy signing. It was probably one of the most exciting moments of my life. Afterwards my knees were shaking and I wouldn't let anyone shake my hand because I wanted John to be the last person to have shaken my hand. The pics in my sig are from Hunter's Hope...even though I didn't meet them there I got pretty close! 10. Nope!

1. when did you discover the Goos? In 1998, I believe. 2. what was the first song you heard by the Goos? I probably heard "Name", but "Iris" was the first one I connected with their name. 3. how did you hear it---radio, friend's cd/ reference, tv, etc.? From MTV (hey, I was only thirteen at the time). 4. did you really like it or was there a different song that I loved it after hearing it for about the third time. 6. what was the first thing that you bought containing the Goos' music--Goo album, single, movie soundtrack, etc.? The "City of Angels" soundtrack. 7. what was the first Goo album you bought or were given upon request? Technically, I bought their first album used before the other ones. I realized I had to own all of their albums. 8. what are your three most favorite songs from each Goo album that you own? I own all of them, and it would end up being a long list, so I'd say my top nine songs by them are "Big Machine", "Tucked Away", "All Eyes on Me", "Eyes Wide Open", "Hate This Place", "Already There", "Another Second Time Around", "Stop the World", and "There You Are". 9. have you met the Goos? Yep. Minneapolis, MN in 2002. All three came out after the show and went down the line. Greeted by Mike, handshake from John, and a hug from Robby. I actually went into some kind of euphoria afterward . . . wow, that was a long time ago.
