Did anyone else see the article in Fri. May 6 USA Today about Disneyland's 50 anniv? Yeah, they mention umpteen other celebs who showed up, but not the Goos And, get this - the article is titled "Dizzy for Disneyland" ooh this makes me mad! I mean who really gives a flyin' fig about Brad and Angelina? Write about the guys who had the No.1 song for how many weeks? It's no wonder they're so underrated. I think we all should write to USA today an give 'em a ration of sh*t *Whew* ok, I feel better now

Yes i agree, people fail to give them the recognition they deserve thats why they are so underrated. People can be so judgemental like if they hear goo goo dolls they make a wierd face and dont listen to their songs cos of their name. And on yahoo they have like 150 pics from the disney day - and goo only get 1 pic and the likes of Christina is in most of them!! Sad huh? i will sign that complaint thing... i was also thinking about phoning up my local radio staion and play GALB cos last time i heard goo on radion was in 2002 with 'Here is gone'.

Totally feel like you and it just burns my butt that they don't get the recognition! HOWEVER.. there is a good side to that... ticket availability to their concerts are usually quite good! great in fact! sometime smaller venues are played at which makes it great for us smaller town folks sometimes! I know... I know... would be nice for them to be having those sold out world tours because they deserve to be recognized and adored by fans. Just some pros to them being sometimes a lesser known group -Babs

Come to think of it Babsil - i like yr take on Goo not having as much sold out tours - that means they can do meet and greats and smaller venues - which i think is great cos than u can get intimate with the bands music as they play. U can get lost in the hype and those who dont know, well they will discover the goos when they need to. But 4 now the goo's r a secret to their fans of how great they r, even though iris and name have made them household names in some places. The LIB gig was fab but it was special that they could put a concert privately for fans to meet them. Keeps the fans connected with them.

I hate it when people judge them by their names, without even hearing their music first! They write some really great songs, but people (especially guys) are just too ignorant to see that.
