Something about JOHN

Hi
I have two things i wanna say about John, the first is...
well, i don't it was right to mention but...
I was reading an interview the other day and i was really touched by what John said. Don't know if any of you guys have heard this, but John was saying that he had a dream once where he saw his dad. He whispered in his ear and said to him 'i have enough money to buy the bar back'.. in relation to when john dad wanted to take over his dad's bar but john's grandma had sold it or something, and john felt his dad's pain all his life. I felt really emotional reading this and thinking how people can leave this world without accomplishing their dreams and the rest try... at that time i had lost someone so maybe that's why i felt more after reading the article.
The other thing was, there is this link that takes you to a goo page with quotes from John, the first quote in the list really surprised me as i didn't know that john would say such a thing, but i want u guys 2 read it and tell me what u think 2 - oh and there's some super cool pics of the goo's and John.

He said it. I've got a bootleg CD of that show. He complained A LOT during that show, I think he was having a REALLY bad day.

He's human, can't be blind to think not just cos he's a rock star and writes nice songs..
He must have been really stressed say that- some really out there statements

well, true, what he said was a lil on the vulgar side but some ppl have a hard time not lashing out at others when they get pissed or stressed out. sometimes i do things like that to my mom or sister and i won't give a s**t what they think or how much i hurt them in the moment. it's not something i'm proud of but usually, if i'm in the wrong, i apologize to them later. i can't stand it when ppl i love or care about are mad at me or hurt by me.
maybe she said it to him in a manner or tone that just rubbed him the wrong way. who am i to judge him? i don't even know him.
i know his personality sometimes comes across to ppl as a "i don't give a flying f**k what other ppl think" but sometimes when he says things that are misconstrued as rude or vulgar, it's more than likely not because he doesn't care but actually because he's just stressed out. that's what i'm thinking, not what i know, so if i'm wrong, sorry.
btw, i think he should quit smoking too...not bc it's disturbed his voice but just bc it's bad for his health and those around him...and, obviously, i don't want him to die.

Yeh no-one's perfect, i hope it wasn't silly of me to bring this thread up, but it as soon as i read it i had to share it with you guys.
Also, on that link there's a pic of john with his niece which i thought was super cute, cos he took her to the treasure planet preview.
Also i didn't know who Adrienne Frantz was by her name but i used to watch her when she was really young in sunset beach as tiffany, so i was surprised to see her, especially with John as i didn't know, she's grown up pretty.

He didn't actually say that quote to the girl who told him to stop smoking. He just said he said that during the concert. It makes for a good story.
The person who that story is apparently about used to (still does?) post here.

well he should really stop smoking it's really bad for his health.but i mean that's just what i think.but i mean i wouldn't walk up to him and say that i mean beleive me i kow soemone who smokes and i said that to her once and she got so mad at me.i wanted to crawl in the corner of the room and disappear.that was kinda rude of that person to just walk up to him and say that i mean she didn't even know him.i would never do anything like that to anybody(now i won't anyway) especially a musician!

Yeh i was thinkin about this and its like telling someone to lose weight or something on those lines. Its sensitive area to tread on. I sure when one says like stop smoking its cos it bad 4 yr health but it can upset that person cos its somthing they do.

It isn't an easy thing to do. I quit smoking about 1½ yrs. ago. I had several unsuccessful attempts before "it stuck"...  You also have to be ready to quit on your own; nobody can really help or persuade you into doing it.
When I met John 2 years ago, he had just lit up. When I approached him he put it out. I felt kinda guilty because, at the time, it didn't bother me. It wouldn't bother me today either come to think of it.
