I don't know if you guys have already had a thread on this, and i checked for a bit, but if u have sorry. But i bought live in alaska earlier this year and i loved it. The goo goo dolls were so funny in some scenes and i loved when they played big machine near the lake and here is gone on the train. The scenery was so beautiful, didn't realise how wonderful alaska was. I liked it when John sang acoustic #3 on the ice... coool

i have it on tape, the music in high places from when they aired it on mtv. (i think it was mtv, might have been vh1, i can't remember). i really love the part when they perform on the train, the scenery and lighting is really nice and they sounded great. the part where Robby was trying to make it look like he was running as fast as the train was pretty funny and also when he was on that...i don't remember what they called it...but it was when he was being thrown up in the air by a whole bunch of ppl on a really large strechy round thing lol; his facial expression was priceless. i think it was really cool of them to perform so exclusively for a group of people in Alaska. not many bands would do that for fans. and yea, i liked the part where John perfoms on the ice too. i think he said he almost fell into the water at one point. that would have been funny to see but probably not as funny to actually experience it. lol. mighta been a little cold. plus, it might have hurt him, so i would much rather sacrifice not seeing the humor in it. the whole thing was awesome of them to do. they performed really well! too bad ohio isn't out in the middle of the ocean...lol.

That thing is called human throw - up or something, everyone was routing for robby and not 4 john 2 do it!!!! I thought it was cute when john was talking with the huskies...sweet.

I don't have LIA yet, only LIB, which I love because of the rain, ironically. I've seen pictures from LIA tho, and they do look pretty fun.

LOL, we did get to see Johnny almost fall in the snow though...the part when he was running along side Robby and Mike on the dog sled. That was so funny....but yeah, I was glad that he didn't eat it. I really enjoyed the broadway performance at that cool bar. I must say Mr. Rzeznik looked pretty darn cute when he smiled after "Ottis" played that long section of harmonica and Johnny starts to sing again. And the "It gets lonely up here on the tundra" piece is just wild! LOL.

I liked when in the behind the scenes, Robby hops in the river to clean off the mud and he's screaming like a mad man cuz it was so cold in the river. The when he gets out John walks up to him and goes, "Hey Robby, I bet if we yank your pants down right now you'd look like a Ken doll!" OMG, ILMAO!!!! Of coarse he was referencing shrinkage. Too FUNNY! and when Robby lost his footage in the mud and fell on his face, I thought John would piss himself! I love LIA. Best footage yet!

i thought this was kinda funny. it's a question from a chat transcript some Goo fans had a while back in 04 with the Goos. Question from seaview: Music in High Places is an incredible dvd!! The music rocked and the scenery incredible. John, what was on your mind when the helicopter nearly blew you off the glacier after Acoustic #3? Reply from goo goo dolls: I'm going to have serious shrinkage.... lol...thought i'd share that with you all since we're on the subject. and just in case you're wondering, i don't know when they're gonna chat with fans again and i don't know at what website this chat took place either. i found it by chance while lookin around at one of the Goo ring websites. and about what someone said refering to the mudslide thing. it was funny and very cute too! i haven't watched it in a long time, so i can't recall every scene and detail but i'm sure there are things i didn't mention from the music in high places that i loved.
