Just saw on their official site that there's a new post on March 6 that assures us they are working on new songs for the album and they expect a late/summer early fall release. At last...some news from the boys!!! I was beginning to feel awfully parched there for a while! HURRY UP SUMMER/FALL!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!

| Yes they better had! Because disgruntled Goo fans are a force to be reckoned with! LOL Anyway... "Early summer/Late fall"?? YOU SAID JUNE! Grrr...but I'm sure it'll be worth waiting for...but if it doesn't come out till late in the year I can't go see them unless they come to England...aaaah... *frets*

Interesting how I saw this post as I was listening to their cover of "Don't Change" "Things have been dark for too long!" NEW ALBUM, YES!!! I hope it's a little bit harder though. Don't get me wrong, "Gutterflower" had very strong lyrics, but the music just wasn't as hard except in "What Do You Need?" I JUST WANT SOME HARDER STUFF LoL I miss it

Sakogoo, I hear ya. I hope that this new CD reflects their harder stuff from the first few albums while still retaining some the full, lush sounds of DUTG and GF. I personally LOVE IT that they have a history of such varied sounds. Right now I'm addicted to SSCW but I know that when I get in the mood for "sweeping epics" I can put on DUTG and get just as much of a thrill. But you know what, I don't care if they sing friggin' Barney songs...I'm just ready for the BOYS TO BE BACK!!! Yee ha!!!
