Just watched Iris and American girl from the Concert for NYC (its available on the media page of AG) WOW!!! Those guys sure know how to bring down the house. Iris was only alright, kind of 'its our big hit we have to play it' but the cover of American Girl blew me away! Towards the end of the song John is just belting back and forth across the stage nearly falling over himself hes in such a frenzy! Then he and Robby kinda run back and forth in opposite directions, they just totally ROCK Sooooo cool. The audience are totally happy too, big goofy smiles on their faces. Unbelievable

I *LOVE* American Girl. They did that song with such energy, each and every show, even tho it was the last song of the night, and I always feel that energy whenever I listen to it. IN FACT~stupid story here...but every other Friday night my friends and I go to the same bar to hang out. The jukebox doesn't have any Goo (even tho I've told the owner 100 times...he says yes and then hasn't done it) but it has Tom Petty's AG. So...I play that instead and think of Goo. LOL Yes, I'm a nerd.
