Heh, that's pretty impressive. Ya know, even though sometimes I get TMA syndrome with Iris (That's 'Too Much Airplay' syndrome, by the way) there are still some times when it gets me right here *points in vague area of her heart* ya know? Ooh, good idea pOGo. I'm game. on Jan 21st, 2005, 7:22am, pOGo wrote: 1822- we didnt start the fire- billy joel - masterpiece...you know i can sing the whole thing? 1596- wonderful -everclear - they are suuuch a good band! 952- comfortably numb- pink floyd - you goatta watch the wall movie to get this song |
| 1) I'm darn well impressed by the fact that you can sing the whole of 'We didn't start the fire'. I didn't think ANYONE could do that...lol! 2) Everclear Rock 3) So do Pink Floyd. The Wall is quite easily the greatest concept album of all time and something that everyone should listen to. REALLY listen to. You can't be casual about The Wall, it just doesn't work! This list seems pretty random...I mean, it goes from John Lennon to Avril Lavigne! That's pretty darn varied! Very pleased to see 'Romeo and Juliet' by Dire Straits listed. The guitar in that song is just TOO good...well, it is Mark Knopfler. I see Matchbox 20 got a mention too. Another band I like who are utterly unknown in this country. There are too many of them, I swear. Ah, Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks. I LOVE Stevie Nicks! Fleetwood Mac as a band were mentioned too. I was raised on Fleetwood Mac, and I still think they rock And did anyone else notice that the original Jenny 8675 309 got mentioned? Heh heh. I ain't heard the original but the Goos version is pure hilarity ("I'm washing my hair...") 1504 brick ben folds five - just...wow. So moving. 1050 graceland paul simon - good song, good album. 941 semi charmed life third eye blind - ah! This is one of my favourite songs of all time! 272 my own worst enemy lit - This song is genius just for having the line "Can we forget about the things I said when I was drunk? I didn't mean to call you that..." Also pleased to see Incubus metioned several times. 149 slide goo goo dolls - man, that band suck... 107 bullet with butterfly wings smashing pumpkins - Great. Even though I don't like Billy Corgan's voice... 63 when i come around green day - also great 50 iris goo goo dolls - WOOT!! This list has that guy Gavin DeGraw on it. I don't know who he is, but I heard him while waiting for the Goos to come on the Star Lounge thing and I thought he sounded cool...must download *makes mental note* 36 gone away offspring - Hmm, not sure I'd rank it above 'Iris'...but early Offspring rocks. Is this really long? (typing that just makes it longer...0_o)

No one noticed that "Don't Change" is #21... No offense, but that list sucks. "Bohemian Rhapsody" is #170, and Nickelback is #38. The fact Avril Lavigne is on the list puts it the "Grade A Bullshit" category.
