i think i really scared someone today...

so i'm at work (starbucks) and in walks this chic with the black stacked GGD sweatshirt on....well i of course am immediately going "OH MY GOSH! YOU'RE A GOO FAN?!!!! because i never see anyone in my area wearing goo stuff or being really into them or anything....and i was asking her all these questions and she was just looking at me like i was crazy....she said she had seen them in NC and met them at a meet and greet. so i asked her if she had gotten LIB and she said she hadn't....tsk tsk....anyway, i made her drink on the house and told her to get out there and buy the dvd!!! so i figured yeah i'm sure i totally freaked her out...but i made a good Goo impression, right?!!!!

 I had a similar experience not that long ago, maybe a few weeks ago, I saw a girl at school wearing the stacked goo logo sweater, I think I freaked her out...I just stopped in my tracks and said OMG! You're a Goo Goo Dolls fan!!! I apologized to her for being so random but I told her it's rare that I see someone wearing goo merch then I told her bout my radio show and how I've been playing GALB, but I don't think she knew what I was talking bout, probably thought I was mad lol

Hahaha I know that feeling! Back when Gutterflower came out I was working in the Home Entertainment department and the day the cd came out everytime someone bought one I gave them like 102 questions and wouldn't shut up about the Goo's. Haha oh well, it's just our fanmenship coming out, so it's all goo

I was at Best Buy, buying my niece LIB and everybody that walked by was told how good the DVD is and that they should buy it...I think I need to be on the Goo's payroll for publicity!
My husband told me I was making a fool out of myself and to stop harrassing people, but I told him to go look at some more James Taylor c.d.'s and leave me alone!

i'd like to announce that *I* spread the Goo today by lending out my 2nd copy of the DVD to a guy at work. He's mildly interested in Goo, so I figured this might hook him.
i think that should be an assignment...each week we try to bring ONE new person into the fold. lol

We all are Quite guilty of being GOO pushers
i have a pic of "the girls" and ( no not the the boobs)
my co-worker,a friend and i from the paso show and it has GOO GIRLS PASO 2004 at my work station so that always strike up a conversation, and of course behind me is the group shot of "the girls" from the buffalo show
and then i go on and on and w/ it being on direct tv a lot of the drug rep have watched it and left notes on my work station  of course one guy thought it was the go gos but thats alright he can be clueless he watched lib and liked it!!!!

LOL...I do this all the time! If someone tells me they like the Goo Goo Dolls I just immediately start asking them all these questions like what's your favorite song, have you seen them live, etc. and then I have to realize that just because they like a band doesn't mean they're quite as obsessed as all of us. LOL.
