As requested here are some more pictures. Vatican Museum I did go into the Sistine Chapel, but there was no photography allowed. St. Peter's Basilica

Florance Capri You can see the road on the side of the cliff in this picture. It was called the "Oh My God Bridge" because the only thing separating you from a 900 foot drop was a little guard rail. We drove on it twice.

WOW! Those pictures are unbelievably beautiful ... even the ruins. Such beautiful cities with so much history. And....the architecture is stunning. I've really got to get out of the States at some point in my life. Did you go on a cruise? I saw a couple ships in the pictures so I just wondered.

Thank you Yes, I went on a three day cruise through the Greek Isles. The ship stopped at ports in Mykonos, Patmos (I stayed on the ship at this port and slept), Kusadasi and Rhodes.

That sounds so fun. I've always wanted to do that. Greece is just beautiful. My sister-in-law's parents are native to Italy. Her father's village looks just like Capri. It's so beautiful there. I can't imagine the desperation that would cause someone to move from there to Michigan...lol
