So I had this idea of a favorite song tournament, only NOT for goo songs  Drew is going to help me do it since I have no sweet clue how to. Heh. I'm just posting this to see if it generates interest

I was thinking each person would submit 3-5 different non-goo songs (pending on how many people submit), and we'd make the brackets from that.

Duuude... there's just way too many between the Rolling Stones, The Doors, Stone Temple Pilots, Aerosmith, Lacuna Coil, old Green Day, Pink Floyd, Boston... dude, dude!! LoL
Maybe reduce it to a certain era? Genre? Decade?

I think genre might be good. See I like some country and if I submitted some of my favorites I know they'd get shot down in a heartbeat against a rock song. So maybe it could be divided into genres. For instance .... start with a rock tournament. You could even get specific and state between 1970-1990....just an example. Then once that tournament is over you could move on to another genre like alternative or country.

Don't worry Shannon, I'd vote for some country songs with ya!  I like all music, and hey, I'm a country girl at heart! My current fave: Settlin' by Sugarland.
