Did anyone catch The Police opening up the Grammy program? They performed "Roxanne". Pretty cool. They lost me a little during the "jazz section" in the middle of the song, since I'm very jazz-challenged. Never can get the beat when it's jazz. But then they pulled it back to the rock beat, and yeah...it was very cool to see the three of them performing together onstage again.

I forgot they were performing. When I turned it on and they were singing I was so happy. I used to love The Police. It was so nostalgic.

Yeah, I would have missed it if I hadn't decided to read the entertainment section of the free newspaper that was thrown on my front lawn today. Glad I read about it beforehand. They looked good, and sounded great. I hope they are getting along alright. They were a very talented band.

i thought they did great. . .i wish they coulda done a few more though. . .like they made Fleetwood Mac do a few years back. . .maybe Message in a Bottle and Every Breath You Take (even though i always think 'breaf' thanks to P. Diddy). . .but then again, it's better to do one song really good than a few songs really quick. . .

I thought they looked great and sounded good, but I just wish they would have picked a different song to sing. I hated that song back then, and time hasn't tempered my dislike for it. But The Police have many good songs in their arsenal, so I like them overall. I hear they're going out on tour afterwards. That would be a cool show to catch.
