I am a proud Canadian, but i find myself singing the US national anthem alot because its catchy and challanging to sing  AHAHA. I seriously do sing it alot.

As long as I've lived here I've never gone down to the waterfront to see the fireworks ... especially after that shooting a couple years ago. I have watched them on TV but this year I forgot they were on and was probably reading a book  But I've heard that they're usually excellent.

I usually sit in an empty parking lot not far from downtown...and I get a perfect view, not up close, but good enough that I can see the whole show. You should come over and watch it from the other side. That would be neat seeing it from a different perspective.

I'll have to keep that in mind for next year ... I bet my kids would enjoy seeing them.

Windsor, Canada, right across the boarder!! I don't think I've been to Livonia before, when I do go across to the States, I usually shop around Oakland Mall area and Eureka Road!

Ahhh yes....I've been to Oakland Mall many times before. Livonia is just West of Detroit. It's about a 15-20 minute drive to the bridge from my house. That's why I don't mind going to shows downtown. It's so much better than driving up to DTE or The Palace.
